Job Title Workshop Technician
Location Whitecairns, Aberdeenshire

General Accountability

  • The Workshop Technician will work in the workshop to complete disassembly, assembly and testing of coring equipment.
  •  The Workshop Technician takes care of incoming equipment (checking, testing, disassembly, cleaning, etc) and preparations for outgoing equipment (checking, testing, assembly, etc ).
  •  For the right candidate this position may lead to an offshore role as a Coring Engineer in 2-3 years depending on the aptitude and successful training.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Assembly and disassembly of coring equipment by using various tools as required per procedure.
  • Check, test, calibrate and maintain tools and equipment as per procedures and workflow processes.
  • Ensure that all workflow processes associated with workshop operations are understood and followed
  • Picking of tools required for operations per requisition order.
  • Packing of tools and equipment and make ready for shipping
  • Understand and adhere to Quality Management processes
  • Develop the skills of Trainees by training them.
  • Possibility of being on call on an adhoc basis
Essential Competencies & Qualifications Required
  • Must have experience of working in a workshop environment
  • Mechanically minded and keen to learn new skills.
  • An ability to work to tight deadlines and willingness to work additional hours when required
  • Full Driving License
  • Computer / Microsoft Literate
QHSE Responsibilities

EMPLOYEES:

  • Cooperate fully with Reservoir Group to help aid achievement of our QHSE policy and objectives and to carry out work as per the requirements of the QHSE management system;
  • Attend and participate in regular QHSE meetings, awareness sessions and training;
  • Familiarise themselves with the QHSE management system and location of documentation and resources;
  • Work diligently and taking care of the environment, the health and safety of themselves and others who may be affected by your acts or omissions;
  • Maintain a clean & orderly work area at all times, and actively participate in QHSE improvement activities;
  • Report all hazards, incidents and non-conformity, comply with all QHSE rules and requirements and not interfere with any QHSE resources provided;
  • Intervene and STOP any work they feel is unsafe, may cause harm to a person or the environment or could result in non-conformity.
Job Title Field Supervisor
Location Malaysia

General Accountability

  • The Field Supervisor will supervise the running of thru-tubing well intervention equipment and services in the field (onshore & offshore) whilst conducting the work in a safe and professional manner.
  • The Field Supervisor will work on onshore and offshore sites with down-hole tools and provide technical and subject matter advice to the client whilst on location in order to provide efficient solutions.
  • The Field Supervisor takes care of his job load out and equipment selection if and when possible and ensures all workflow processes are correctly followed and documented.
  • You will be required to work throughout Asia, including the Middle East.
Primary Responsibilities
    • Supervise the running of thru-tubing equipment and services in the field (onshore & offshore) whilst conducting the work in a safe and professional manner.
    • Provide technical and subject matter advice to the client whilst on location in order to provide efficient solutions.
    • Field Sales – Internal and external
    • Preparing job load out and equipment selection if and when possible.
    • Ensures supplied equipment is compatible with all other equipment used for job.
    • Provides front-line support with customer and accurately completes all paperwork prior to or upon completion of job.
    • Keep and prepare accurate delivery tickets, job logs, BHA Drawings, run sheets, time sheets and toolbox & inspections paperwork.
    • Uses experience and knowledge of thru tubing well intervention applications to ensure products and services are of highest quality
    • Available 24/7 when on stand-by.
    • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment.
    • Ensuring Quality Management System and workflow processes are correctly followed.
    Secondary Responsibilities
    • Assist in job preparation with Operations team as and when required.
    • Assist in the workshop as and when required.
    • Participate in the other product-line disciplines as and when required on an Ad-hoc basis.
    Essential Competencies & Qualifications Required
    • A minimum of four years’ experience in Thru-Tubing Field Operations
    • A thorough understanding and knowledge of Coil Tubing and the Well Intervention thru-tubing tools, equipment, systems, and standards in the oil- and gas industry
    • Excellent Mechanical Aptitude
    • Must be a team player with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Work well with little supervision
    • Personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment
    • A dynamic and confident attitude with a strong desire to achieve target
    • Excellent communication skills in English
    • Computer skills.
    • Able to work offshore with the necessary certificates.
